Warriors & Cougars Giving Power of Choice to Santa Clarita Families

The PYFL announces that the territory south of Hwy. 126 and west of the 5 Freeway will now be open to Warrior Football and Cheer, as well as Cougar Football and Cheer. The territories between Warrior Football and Cheer and the Canyon Country Outlaws will still exist as before. Valencia, Newhall, Saugus, Stevenson Ranch and West Ranch will be open to the Warrior program and the Cougar program. Families in these communities now have a choice of where they want their children to play football or cheer. Director of Warrior Football, Rett Hicks states that the Warrior program is ready to expand to as many teams as it takes to accommodate any student/athlete that wants to play for the most successful Youth Sports organization in Santa Clarita and the PYFL for that matter. The Santa Clarita Valley Athletic Association is proud to have work in conjunction with the Castaic/Stevenson Ranch Cougars on solidifying this agreement.
